REDUCE STRESS – in 5 minutes with these 4 quick tips

Stress relief is important for so many reasons. First for your continued good health and second for having a constant sense of well being. To relieve stress effectively combine both body and mind. Below are some tips to help put you in a relaxed state both physically and mentally. Practice them throughout your day and to lower your stress.

Breathe – now take a nice full deep breath fill your belly let it out slowly now take another deep breath feel your belly and then your chest release your breath now slowly do this 5 times.

Stretch that’s right when rising in the morning stand beside your bed and gently lift your arms above your head move them to the celling then back to your side then stretch out front of  your body then back to your side now stand on one leg for the count of 10 then the other leg for account of 10. Gently take your left arm above your head and bring it to your right side stretching now take the right arm and do the same to the left side. Don’t forget to breath. Doing this thought the day will also benefit your health.

Calm yourself by sitting on a chair with your back straight close your eyes and picture yourself in a favorite place it could be a beach, curled up with a book or just relaxing by a nice calm fire place just sit and take slow breaths and ponder without thought.

Relaxing your Muscles by slowly tightening and relaxing your different muscles in your body this can be an easy way to do a quick rejuvenation at work or at home. (yes you can do this sitting or standing just use the techniques that fits your needs)

So let’s start with your legs.. stretch the back of your heals hold for count of 10  now stretch down your toes hold for 10 if it feels good do it again for a 10 count on each. Stretching the back and front of your legs is a great way to get that circulation moving.

Now while sitting lift your legs straight up in front of you and hold for 10 relax do it again count for 10.

Now let’s move to your stomach push the air out now breath in holding your stomach for the count of 10 do this 3 more times.

Move to your shoulders hunch them forward for a count of 10 now relax now putting your chest out move your shoulders back and hold for 10 then relax if it feels good do it again.

Your neck put your chin towards the ground hold for 10 now lean your head all the way back stretching looking to the celling for a count of 10 slowly do this 4 times.

Lift your arms out to your side and move them in small circles for a count of 10 put them back against your body and lift them again for another 10 count. Bring your arms together to the front of you and stretch count for 10.

Now shake your arms and each leg your Body should feel less stiff and hopefully more relaxed and your blood circulation flowing.
